  • *CBT in PHC may need to be used in conjunction with meds to stabilize patient enough to keep focus CBT work.
  • * Perhaps these skills are better taught as an ongoing continuing medical education (CME) throughout residency and beyond.
  • * CBT promotes "one size fits all" and is not holistic by nature and would not be well-received by many First Nations and Métis people (and perhaps not as effective).
